Baked Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

  • 500 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 40 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and lightly grease a suitable baking dish.
  2. Arrange the shrimp in a single, even layer in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a bowl.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp, then season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until pink and opaque.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are not overcrowded for even cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
