Seven-Layer Taco Dip

A colorful and flavorful dip layered with refried beans, sour cream, salsa, and topped with cheese and fresh vegetables, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 1 can (425 g) refried beans
  • 1 packet (28 g) taco seasoning
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 240 ml salsa
  • 115 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 150 g diced tomatoes
  • 65 g sliced black olives
  • 25 g chopped green onions
  • 40 g shredded lettuce
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning until thoroughly combined.
  2. Spread the seasoned refried beans across the base of a serving dish to create the first layer.
  3. Layer the sour cream over the refried beans for the second layer.
  4. Pour the salsa over the sour cream for the third layer.
  5. Scatter the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa for the fourth layer.
  6. Distribute the diced tomatoes across the cheese for the fifth layer.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded lettuce evenly as the sixth layer.
  8. Garnish with sliced black olives and chopped green onions for the final layer.
  9. Refrigerate the assembled dip for at least 60 minutes before serving chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes

Use a glass dish for aesthetic appeal. For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
