Savory Cabbage Beef Bake

A warm and comforting dish combining tender ground beef, shredded cabbage, and aromatic spices, baked to perfection.

  • 5g paprika
  • 5g garlic powder
  • 15ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 200g cooked rice
  • 410g canned diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 450g ground beef

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and add the finely chopped onion until translucent.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes with their juice, cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and garlic powder; stir together.
  4. Allow the mixture to cook for about 5 minutes on a low bubble.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Slide the dish into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
