Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles are a simple, indulgent no-bake treat combining crunchy cookie crumbs with cream cheese, coated in chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
  • Oreo crumbs, for coating or garnish (optional)
  • Additional melted chocolate (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into a fine crumb.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until well combined and smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate with optional oil, then dip each ball in the chocolate, coating completely.
  6. Remove excess chocolate and place on parchment.
  7. Optionally sprinkle with toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Refrigerate for another hour to set the chocolate.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For uniform truffles, use a small cookie scoop to portion the mixture before rolling. If chocolate seizes, stir in a tiny amount of optional oil to smooth it.
