Gooey Coffee Caramel Cake

An indulgent dessert blending rich coffee flavor with sweet caramel, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smoothly blended.
  4. Stir in the brewed coffee and eggs until fully incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly incorporate into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish, drizzle half of the caramel sauce, add the remaining batter, and finish with a final drizzle of caramel.
  7. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is gooey.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or at room temperature with powdered sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
