Garlic Butter Beef & Cheesy Bowtie Pasta

A comforting dish of tender beef simmered in a garlic buttery sauce, combined with cheesy bowtie pasta for a delightful family meal.

  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Cheese (Mozzarella or Parmesan, grated)
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water, add bowtie pasta, and cook according to package instructions (10-12 minutes) until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Lower heat, add minced garlic, and stir with beef for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in butter until melted, then add heavy cream and let simmer for 3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture, adding reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  6. Remove from heat, fold in grated cheese until melted, season with salt and pepper, and serve garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish can be easily customized with seasonal veggies or alternative proteins. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
