Crispy Broccoli Cheese Balls

Crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, these broccoli cheese balls are a delightful way to incorporate vegetables into your meals.

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped broccoli with the shredded cheese.
  3. Add the breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced about an inch apart.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
