  • 4 chicken legs
  • 300 grams cream of mushroom soup
  • 120 millilitres whole milk
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and whole milk in a bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the chicken by patting dry and seasoning with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown, then transfer to a plate.
  5. Sauté the onion and garlic in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  6. Arrange the chicken legs in a baking dish and top with the sautéed onions and garlic.
  7. Add the creamy mixture over the chicken and aromatics.
  8. Bake covered tightly with aluminum foil for 45 minutes.
  9. Finish baking uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce is bubbling.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
