Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans sliced peaches in syrup (15 ounces each)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour the peaches with their syrup into the prepared baking dish and spread them evenly across the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches, covering the fruit with a uniform layer.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter all over the top.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top if using, pressing lightly.
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  8. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

To make a nut-free version, omit the pecans. For firmer topping, let sit longer before serving.
