Ultimate Cheesecake

A rich and creamy cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create a sturdy crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to incorporate them fully.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust you prepared earlier and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly when you gently shake the pan.
  8. Once baked, turn off the oven and crack the door open. Allow the cheesecake to cool inside for 1 hour.
  9. After it has cooled, chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
