Sticky Honey Chicken

A delicious, easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and sticky honey glaze, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

  • 1.5 lbs skinless and boneless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and set aside in a bowl.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet, add the marinated chicken and sauce. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Mix cornstarch with a splash of water in a small bowl and add to the skillet. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables to soak up the delicious sauce.
