Soft Butter Cookies

Deliciously soft and buttery cookies that melt in your mouth, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cookie trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing on low speed until large crumbles form.
  5. Stir in the milk until the dough absorbs the liquid and comes together.
  6. Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip and pipe rosettes onto the cookie trays.
  7. Bake for about 13 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For uniform cookies, use consistent pressure while piping. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
