Indulgent Burnt Basque Cheesecake in a Loaf Pan

  • 16 oz Full-Fat Cream Cheese (Room Temperature)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs (At Room Temperature)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream (For serving)
  • 1 cup Fresh Berries (For serving)
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce (For drizzling on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Sift in the flour and salt, gently folding until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is beautifully burnt and the edges are set.
  8. Turn off the oven and allow the cheesecake to cool in the oven for about one hour.
  9. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least four hours, or overnight.
  10. Before serving, slice the cheesecake and top with whipped cream, fresh berries, and caramel sauce.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for the best texture. Cover leftover cheesecake tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
