Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until set, looking for a slight shine on top.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
