Garlic Butter Chicken Bowties with Cheesy Mozzarella Cream Sauce

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chicken breast, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Toss in the cooked bowtie pasta and mix until coated in the sauce.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan and garnished with parsley.

Notes

Warm the heavy cream slightly before adding to prevent the sauce from separating. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
