Garlic Butter Chicken Bites

Warm, garlicky, and perfectly buttery, these Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are a weeknight lifesaver, offering tender chicken in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with paper towels. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  2. Melt the butter. Place a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Heat until the butter melts and foams slightly, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the garlic. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté in the melted butter for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
  4. Cook the chicken. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Let them cook undisturbed for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Stir and continue cooking. Stir the chicken pieces, turning them so they brown on the other side. Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
  6. Add parsley. Sprinkle the dried or fresh parsley over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Check doneness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) at the thickest pieces before serving.
  8. Serve. Transfer the chicken to a serving dish and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

If your skillet gets crowded, cook in two batches for the best sear. For a cheesy twist, try cheesy garlic chicken wraps.
