The Delightful Chicken Crunch Wrap

A vibrant and comforting dish featuring tender chicken wrapped in a warm tortilla with crunchy vegetables and creamy sauces.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 diced tomato
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa
  • Spices: cumin, paprika, garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, warm up a tablespoon of olive oil and season the chicken with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board, let it rest briefly, then shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Lay a warmed tortilla flat, layer with shredded chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrap.
  6. Optional: Toast the assembled wrap in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using an air fryer. You can customize the fillings based on your preferences, such as swapping chicken for beans or turkey.
