  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Optional toppings (fresh fruit, chocolate, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, sealing any seams.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  6. Allow the bars to cool for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and add optional toppings before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is adequately softened before mixing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
