Creamy Beef Pasta

Creamy Beef Pasta is a comforting dish combining savory beef and a rich, velvety sauce that warms the heart, perfect for family dinners or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • Pasta (12 oz): Any shape you prefer
  • Ground Beef (1 lb): Feel free to substitute with turkey or plant-based meat
  • Heavy Cream (1 cup): Creates the luscious, creamy sauce
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced): Adds aromatic richness
  • Onion (1 medium, chopped): Sweetens the dish
  • Parmesan Cheese (½ cup, grated): For garnish and extra creaminess
  • Italian Seasoning (1 tsp): Elevates flavor
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, approximately 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it up and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add Aromatics: Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Create the Sauce: Reduce heat, pour in heavy cream, stirring well. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 3 minutes.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Finish with Cheese: Remove from heat, stir in grated Parmesan until melted.
  7. Serve: Garnish with additional cheese and fresh herbs. Serve warm.
