Crack Chicken Pierogi Casserole

A comforting casserole combining creamy chicken, cheddar cheese, and crispy pierogi, perfect for family gatherings or potlucks.

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 oz Ranch Seasoning Packet
  • 16 oz Frozen Pierogi
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Green Onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook the chicken over medium heat until browned and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes; let cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning; mix until well incorporated.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of frozen pierogi on the bottom; spoon the chicken mixture over the pierogi evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring a generous layer.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to let the casserole set. Best served with a side salad or garlic bread.
