  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula or wooden spoon.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
