Christmas Ribbon Salad

A festive layered Jell-O dessert featuring tart fruit flavors and a creamy filling, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces lime Jell-O powder
  • 2 1/4 cups hot water
  • 8 ounces block cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 ounces lemon Jell-O powder
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 6 ounces cherry Jell-O powder
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the first layer by dissolving the lime Jell-O powder in hot water and refrigerate until set.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy and smooth.
  3. Melt the marshmallows with pineapple juice over low heat until well combined.
  4. Dissolve the lemon Jell-O powder in hot water.
  5. Combine the cooled marshmallow mixture and lemon gelatin with the cream cheese.
  6. Cool the mixture until slightly thickened before adding to the lime layer.
  7. Add the cream cheese mixture over the set lime layer and chill until firm.
  8. Prepare the cherry layer by dissolving the cherry Jell-O powder in hot water.
  9. Add the cooled cherry Jell-O over the set cream layer and refrigerate until fully set.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For best results, allow each gelatin layer to set fully before adding the next. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
