Chocolate Caramel Dump Cake

A delightful dessert that combines rich chocolate, creamy caramel, and chewy chocolate chips, resulting in a warm, gooey cake that melts in your mouth.

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag (11 oz) caramel bits or soft caramel candies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the batter to create a creamy layer.
  5. Sprinkle the caramel bits and chocolate chips across the surface, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Using a knife, gently swirl the mixture through the batter to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking for a salted caramel twist. Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
