Indulge in the rich, decadent flavor of these Browned Butter Blondies, a luscious treat perfect for gatherings or a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter and brown sugar, mixing until well combined.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  8. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan and smooth out the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let the blondies cool before slicing.
