Apple Fritter Bites

Delicious bite-sized treats combining sweet apples, warm spices, and a sugary glaze for a perfect indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 medium apples (peeled and diced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, drizzle over warm fritters, and serve.
