Air Fryer Lava Cake

Indulgent and quick Air Fryer Lava Cakes with warm, molten centers and a rich chocolate flavor.

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Stir in the powdered sugar until fully combined.
  4. Add the eggs and egg yolks, mixing well until glossy.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and flour until just combined.
  6. Grease small ramekins and fill them halfway with the batter.
  7. Place the ramekins in the air fryer and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
  8. Let the cakes cool for a minute, then invert them onto a plate and serve warm.

Notes

Grease ramekins well for easy unmolding. Store baked cakes in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or freeze for 1 month.
